The "Content" show for broadcasters is coming again in September. There are two attractions you'll want to see IBC 2010:

This year, on Monday 13 September at 18:30, there will be a complete screening of Avatar (Special Edition) courtesy of 20th Century Fox International and by permission of Lightstorm Entertainment.

This new special edition contains an additional eight minutes of content over the original film and will be screened using the Real D stereoscopic 3D system. Admission is free.

What? Plasma Panels Set All-Time Sales Record

Rumours of its death are greatly exaggerated as plasma sets an all-time sales high: led by the price gap between PDP and LCD panel, Q2 shipments of PDP module shipments recorded 5M units and an increase of 27% M/M or 53% Y/Y.

The 50 and 30 series LED monitors highlight Samsung’s commitment to putting the PlanetFirst™.

LED-backlit displays contain few or no environmentally hazardous substances, such as mercury or lead, and use about 40% less energy. At InfoComm, Viewsonic brought out a new MultiView video wall software solution. In addition to displaying large screen HD video across multiple displays, users can display individual HD content on up to 9 displays using a single video.
