US researchers unveil holographic technology to transmit and view moving 3D images that's 100X faster than their last system in 2008.

Avaya launches Flare Experience, a new range of high-end video conferencing products and services.

The technology runs on Google Android. 

Flare is first available in Avaya's Desktop Video Device. The plainly named 11.6" HD multi-touch tablet comes with an integrated HD camera, dual microphones and stereo speaker.
