DIS reports there was hardly any time to relax for the exhibition team during the 5 days of the 1st InfoComm Middle East & Africa. While they saw new potential leads from various countries in the region, many existing DIS Partners came to see how DCS 6000 can be controlled by an iPad now.
At their regional office, DIS recently received 4 orders from system integrators worth more than $USD 1 million to supply about 200 Digital Conference Systems (DCS 6000) with more than 1200 pieces of DC 6190P conference units and IR equipment.
This is headed to the Princess Nora University (PNU), one of many new universities being built in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Once finished, PNU will accommodate 40,000 female students. The equipment will be used for communication & interpretation purposes in classrooms.
DIS displayed new products at Infocomm MEA, including the CP 7851 Microphone & Camera Control Package which allows controlling cameras connected to our DIS Conference Systems through an Apple iPad, the SW 7085 Streaming Publisher as a solution for online video & meetings, the SW 6000 Conference Management Software v5.5 which features a new user interface, and DCS 6000 with improved features for voice activation.
