Identifying the right cloud solution can be complicated Accenture says as it launches myNav, a platform to help customers design and simulate different cloud solutions before picking what best fits their requirements.
Finding the right cloud involves going through multiple providers and models, including public, private, multi and hybrid. In addition, many companies spend significant time and money migrating applications and datacentres to the cloud only to discover applications don't necessarily operate optimally. Accenture claims around 66% of companies are not finding the expected benefits from cloud migration initiatives.
Enter myNav. The platform evaluates multiple variables-- including infrastructure, applications, data, operational model and business outcomes-- to identify the right solution, before simulating it at scale. A custom roadmap enables organisations to maximise the return on current and future cloud technology investments, with recommendations for the application transformation approach in order to accelerate innovation on the cloud.
