SMART Technologies announces updates of a number of popular products, including the SMART Board MX series-- also available as the SMART Board MX Pro series-- and the SMART Board 700R and 700R Pro series.
The value-priced MX and MX Pro series provide all interactive essentials and ease of use. It includes HyPr Touch with IR and 20 touch points, and is Energy Star certified in all sizes (65-, 75- and 86-inch). Meanwhile the 700R and 700R Pro are the high-end option, designed for applications demanding more precision writing and touch, as well as integrated guest connectivity.
The two series feature HyPr Touch with EMR (electromagnetic resonance) technology, something the company says provides a smooth pen-on-paper feel with palm rejection and pressure-sensitive inking. The panel also includes a built-in iQ Android experience, as well as USB-C, freeze frame capabilities, means to ink over any video output and support for up to 20 simultaneous touch points on both Windows and Mac.
In addition, SMART will debut SMART OPS PC modules with Windows 10 Pro computing in 2 processor options (Intel Core i5 and i7 vPro) on November 2019.
