Ingram Micro announces the European availability of IBM Cloud via the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace in France, Germany and the UK, with more markets to be added "soon."
Thus channel partners can configure, provision and manage cloud technologies (including IBM Cloud) via single online marketplace. Ingram Micro also offers fully-automated pre-packaged IBM cloud service plans, including Virtual Private Server, Bare Metal Recovery and Network Gateway Appliances.
The IBM Cloud offering features bare metal servers, virtual servers, storage, security services and networking. Customers can deploy services through web portal or API, allowing the creation of ideal public, private or hybrid cloud environments. Services are powered by the SoftLayer IaaS platform from European datacentres, with in-country data storage allaying customer privacy and security concerns.
