Motion announces its CL900-- an enterprise tablet for productivity and business integration.
The device runs Windows 7 on an enchanced Intel Atom processor-- "Oak Trail". Its screen allows dual touch and stylus input, and it a SSD (30/62GB) and up to 2GB RAM.
Connectivity comes through an optional integrated Gobi 3000 mobile broadband (GPS, 802.11 a/b/g/n WLAN, bluetooth) and wireless SIM port.
Motion says its battery lasts up to 8 hours, while it stands tough conditions-- the design follows MIL-STD-810G specification (1.23m drop test) with an IP-52 rated exterior and a Gorilla Glass display.
The CL900 also includes front and rear-facing cameras, a variety of ports (USB, SD Card, audio/video). A countertop docking station optimises the tablet for touch inputs and allows for peripheral integration.
