The Toughest Android?

ToughbookPanasonic Toughbook line enters the enterprise tablet market with the Toughbook tablet-- a rugged Android-based tablet designed with security, functionality and reliability in mind.

It carries a 10.1" high brightness matte-finished XGA display Panasonic says is daylight viewable within a tough, rugged case (made of high-impact plastics) that's Toughbook's trademark. The package also includes an active stylus.

Computing security is embedded at the hardware level, while the device has a satellite-based GPS, full-shift battery life and optional 3G connectivity.

The company will also offer a range of what it describes as professional-grade accessories. No word on which Android version it actually uses, though.
