Meetcon VC Field Unit is a web conferencing solution delivered in a waterproof- and shockproof case.
Applications include inspections at building and construction sites (both onshore and offshore) where even under extremely harsh conditions you may need to conduct (often under very low light) a video inspection transfer /conference, with the dissemination of sound, view pictures and detailed images.
Meetcon VC Field Unit contains all the necessary equipment for the user to arrange or participate in web/video conferences worldwide under harsh weather conditions and on different types of installations/sites. The only requirement is that the field location has an internet connection.
Inspectors all over the world can communicate even very detailed images from the production site, and send them home to experts for review / discussion. Inspectors carry the shock-proof suitcase in the strap, leaving hands always free.
From the suitcase there is a wire up to a helmet-mounted camera and ear muffs with audio / microphone. This ensures good sound conditions even at high noise and with strict safety regulations.
View images from the site are conveyed through a view camera in the suitcase. In addition, our field unit is available with a handheld detail camera, showing even the smallest details. The camera also works well under marginal conditions, where it automatically switches to black /white images when brightness decreases.
If the suitcase is opened in an office, a PC-mounted camera and a desktop microphone convert Meetcon field unit into a video conference unit intended for indoor use.
