Blue Box Cloud announces On-Prem for Enterprises at the 2015 OpenStack Summit-- an hardware and software product promising to resolve the challenges customers find in the deployment of private clouds.

A joint-venture with VAR Alliance Technology Group, the Blue Box Cloud On-Prem for Enterprises consists of Dell630 (for compute services) and Dell FX series control plane. Powering all are Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 processors, while networking hardware includes the Juniper Networks SRX series services gateway, MX-3D universal edge router and QFX5100 datacentre switches.
At the OpenStack Summit Blue Box also announces an update on its hosted cloud product, the Enterprise Edition. The new offering features Intel-based compute platforms, Tesora-powered DBaaS, Alert Logic security and disaster recovery by trilioData.
