Rackspace announces an alliance with Pure Storage to bring about the Ultra-Fast Performance Rackspace Block Storage Solution-- a product aimed at hybrid cloud customers looking to migrate mission-critical workloads to the cloud.

The Ultra-Fast Performance Rackspace Block Storage solution promises fast access to storage, hybrid cloud connectivity and low latency for workloads. Customers can leverage the offering as they progress to get extensive data portability across multiple platforms and bring products to market faster. Rackspace adds the solution allows customers to migrate mission-critical workloads such as eCommerce, databases, disaster recovery, AI, machine learning and IoT to Rackspace infrastructure, while maintaining performance and availability.
The solution offers a pair of key features, namely hybrid-cloud transformation to help customers migrate, secure and optimise hybrid-cloud environments and enterprise-lvel security within the Pure Storage Purity Operating Environment.
The Ultra-Fast Performance Rackspace Block Storage solution is available now, at least in the UK.
