G-Technology's G-Speed RAID external HDDs get improved enterprise-class storage-- the 4TB HGST Ultrastar, the highest capacity drive in its category according to the company. 

The 4TB HGST Ultrastar offers 7200 RPM performance, 64MB cache and up to 2 million hours of mean-time-between-failure (MTBF). It also uses enterprise-specific firmware to reduce to performance impact of rotational vibration interference (RVI) in rack-mounted servers and multi-drive storage arrays.

The G-Speed RAID drive series is designed for AV applications, with all-aluminium enclosures, x4 hot-swappable drives and a "smart" cooling fan for quiet, efficient operation.
