Cloud provider Ikoula sets to expand further across Europe with the acquisition of Netherlands-based host Ermis, making it the first of such acquisitions to take place in the following months.
"Our two companies share the same vision of the market and the customer support with technical support available 24/7," Ikoula says. "The acquisition of Ermis allows us to access the Dutch market alongside an actor with proven track records and familiar with local conditions."
Ermis was founded in 2003, and currently claims to have over 4600 customers. Post-acquisition it will be rebranded as Ikoula Nederland, part of an effort to to further push the owner's brand outside of France following the establishing of Ikoula Cloud in Amsterdam last December.
Ikoula offers hosting solutions, dedicated servers and cloud services to over 20000 clients from a datacentre in Reims, France.
