The Polycom RealPresence Trio 8800 is a smart-hub designed for group collaboration-- a device looking like a 3-point conference phone, but with the addition of voice for small spaces.
Aimed at group collaboration, it allows users to share voice (since it is a conference phone), HD content sharing (since one can use it like a smartphone and share apps and documents) and live video (with videoconferencing integrated in the 5-inch display).
Patented Polycom audio technologies, such as NoiseBlock, eliminate extraneous noise. Sound pickup range reaches 6m, and customers can add a USB camera for instant IP-based videoconferencing capability. It also has native Microsoft Lync 2013 integration, a Skype for Business client, support for all major SIP platforms and compatibility with Cisco Unified Communications Manager v10.5.
The speaker features 100-22000Hz frequency and 92dB volume at 0.5m peak volume.
